Aden, NewsYemen, special:

Activists described the fact that the means of communications remain in the hands of the terrorist Houthi militia, after seven years, as a farce, as the government of the kidnapped legitimate government continues to support the Houthis by not withdrawing communications to the liberated areas.

They demanded a radical solution to the issue of the militia's control of communications and its revenues, and said that its remaining in the hands of the Houthis indicates the government's failure and complicity.

Journalist Yasser Al-Yafei wrote: A question arises: Why is a telecommunications company not imposed in STC-controlled areas, with or without a certain government?

Isn't it shameful that, it had been 8 years of liberating Aden and still there is no independent telecommunications company in it, and the fate of the people is tied to Sana'a, which is controlled by the militia.

He said, some decisions require courage no less than the military courage with which the sons of the south are described.  It is unreasonable to make sacrifices to establish a fait accompli and harvest the Houthis, the Brotherhood and the corrupt, and the presence of a telecom company with southern capital in Aden is a national, legitimate and legal right.

For his part, activist Mohammed bin Jassar wrote to the Minister of Communications affiliated with the legitimacy

did you know or should I inform you?  Two days ago, Abdul Salam Fleitah in Oman launched the new brand of "MTN" with a new name, "Yemeni Omani United Telecom"

Surprisingly, he added, "Perhaps the Houthis are the legitimate ones. And we are the militia gang that overthrew the regime?"

Human rights activist, Sama Qassem, said, "What does the Minister of Communications under the legitimacy do!? The army of agents, general managers, directors of departments and bodies, the least of whom receives 5 to 6 thousand dollars, what do they do!?

Journalist Munir Al-Omari said that the battle of the Yemenis with the #Hashemite_Imami is a comprehensive battle and is not limited to the military side only, but also extends to the economic, political, cultural and social aspects.  Liberalizing the telecommunications sector is among the first priorities, and the government must immediately ban the Houthi YOU company in its areas and the Yemenis must boycott it!

It is noteworthy that the terrorist Houthi group seized the MTN company in Yemen under an Omani cover, thus completing its control over the government and private telecommunications sector in Yemen.

The new leadership of the company held a press conference in Sanaa, in the presence of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology in the Houthi government, called Misfir Al-Nimr, during which it officially launched its new brand to be the United Yemeni Omani Telecom Company (YOU Telecom) instead of MTN for the mobile phone in Yemen.
