Sana'a, NewsYemen:

The terrorist Houthi militia has raised the prices of domestic gas in its areas of control, thus exacerbating the suffering of citizens.

The Houthi militia has approved raising the price of household gas distributed through the (governmental) Yemen Gas Company from 4,700 riyals to 6,000 thousand riyals per cylinder.

The new pricing came at a time when the areas under its control suffer from an unprecedented crisis in domestic gas and oil derivatives, in conjunction with a remarkable recovery in the black markets that provide gas and fuel at fantastic prices.

The price of a single cylinder of gas, on the black market in Sanaa, exceeded the threshold of 20 thousand riyals, while the price of a twenty-liter "petroleum" crossed the 50 thousand riyals barrier.
