A report documents 1,540 Houthi violations in Al-Bayda during the year

A human rights center has documented more than 1,540 cases of violations committed by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, against civilians in Al-Bayda Governorate during the past year 2021.
A recent report issued by the Monitoring Center for Rights and Development confirmed the increase in cases of violations in the districts of: "Al-Zahir - Al-Soma - Nata' - Numan" in conjunction with direct and indiscriminate attacks against civilians.
The center’s team documented (1540) incidents of violations that occurred in most districts of Al-Bayda governorate, including incidents of forced displacement and displacement of more than (1086) families, and the fall of (69) victims, including (45) dead, including (11) children and one woman, as well as (25) wounded, including (6) children and one woman.
And it monitored (28) victims who fell as a result of mines and explosive devices, (154) cases of arbitrary arrest, (144) cases of assault on private and public property, including (63) cases of breaking into homes and tampering with contents, (46) cases of looting private property, and (30) cases of looting of private property. ) Incidents of destruction of homes and private facilities, including (9) cases of total destruction of houses, (21) cases of partial destruction and (5) cases of violation of public property, mosques and schools, and (78) cases of assault, ill-treatment and denial of movement were monitored.
