The fronts of four Yemeni governorates witnessed hit-and-run battles between government forces and the resistance on the one hand, and the terrorist Houthi militia on the other, while the militias launched a booby-trapped march towards Jizan in southern Saudi Arabia.
Today, the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, announced the fall of a booby-trapped march in the village of "Al-Jadiyin" in Jizan, southern Saudi Arabia. No casualties or material damage was recorded.
The Saudi Press Agency, "SPA," quoted the coalition, as saying that the drone had taken off from Sanaa International Airport, in a deliberate and systematic hostile attempt to target civilians in Saudi Arabia.
On the other hand, battles continued between government forces and militias in the governorates of Hajjah, Marib, Taiz, and Saada, with Arab coalition fighters launching a series of supportive raids, targeting Houthi sites and reinforcements, leaving dead and wounded in their ranks.
Field sources in the Haradh district, north of Hajjah governorate, confirmed that Houthi military vehicles, including a tank, an armored vehicle, a number of crews, and a vehicle carrying equipment and ammunition, were destroyed by Arab coalition fighters, who targeted them while they were arriving in the liberated district of Hiran.
The battles of the past few hours, led to the killing of 11 Houthis, including a prominent field leader, and two small explosive marches launched by the militias towards Hiran and Haradh were also brought down.
In addition, military sources in the fifth region denied the control of the "Abs" camp, noting that the battles are still in the Bani Hassan area and the vicinity of Al-Badah market, and have not yet reached the center of the district where the camp is located.
The battles between the two sides continued on the fronts of the districts of Qatabir and Baqim in the Saada governorate, the stronghold of the Houthis and its leader, for the second day in a row, as they completed the purification of the "Alwahsh wa Alkhayal" tabernacle near the Al Thabet market area in Qatabir.
The Al Thabet market is the largest popular market in Saada, which is exploited by the militias to conclude deals for smuggling drugs, contraband and khat heading towards the Saudi border. The militias turned it into a major military combat barracks to secure their haram economy, which is the most important source of funding for their fronts and their fight against the Yemenis.
In Taiz, hit-and-run battles continued between the two sides, east of the city, concentrated in the Salh area and Wadi Thuabat, without achieving any significant progress. The confrontations were limited to the exchange of artillery and machine guns, while the militias bombed the Shamasi neighborhood with artillery, causing a state of terror and panic among civilians.
In Marib, Arab coalition fighters targeted Houthi military sites and combat equipment in the Ramli axis in the Juba district, south of the governorate, causing direct casualties and leaving Houthis dead and wounded, according to field sources, confirming the death of the Houthi leader and commander of the group’s special task groups called Shu’i Muhammad al-Azi.
