An escalating statement for students abroad.. Five years of suffering and neglect

The students on scholarships abroad issued an escalation statement, a copy of which was obtained by NewsYemen, in which they demanded all stakeholders in the legitimate government; Pay attention to their suffering, even for once, in a serious and real way.
A statement issued by the "Association of Yemeni Universities Delegates Abroad", on Thursday, stated that the delegates are in the process of escalation after five years without solving their problems or responding to their legitimate demands.
The statement described what foreign students have been going through for years as a "humanitarian catastrophe", as delays in dues and tuition fees have been repeated; Unjustifiably, the last of which was the suspension of exchange for a whole year.
The statement indicated that the disbursement of the value of the book allowance, the non-disbursement of travel tickets, and the printing allowance for university delegates, for more than 5 years, and the non-accreditation of the “Corona pandemic” period.
This impeded the educational process and scientific research, and the students' inability to continue normally.
In addition, the majority of graduate students live with their children, which has added to the suffering.
According to the statement, it was decided to start the escalation in the various scholarship countries by organizing an electronic demonstration and sit-ins and inviting the media to allocate programs to convey their suffering.
The statement summarized all the legitimate demands that were repeated in all the previous statements, and the ministries of finance, higher education and scientific research and the government of legitimacy in general are aware of them, and therefore they must be resolved in a radical way, like the rest of the students of other countries.
