The Houthi group was able to control the education sector almost completely, after the escalation of their loyalists in the Ministry of Education and the educational corps, primary, secondary and university, and they also appointed Houthi social supervisors in schools, to follow up on lessons and weekly lectures for students under the name of "confronting the intellectual and cultural invasion", which Through which students are indoctrinated into sectarian ideas.
The militia obliged school principals to force students to chant the Houthi cry in the morning queue instead of national peace, and the social supervisors motivate students during the school queue to participate in the fighting and confront what they call “aggression.” In addition, the supervisors in the weekly lectures teach students sectarian sectarian lessons. .
Sana’a University was the first educational institution that the Houthis entered after their takeover of Sana’a, and they closed major departments in it, such as the Department of Philosophy, History, and the French language, and opened other departments to teach Persian and the history of the Khomeinist revolution. The militia imposed Lieutenant-Colonel Hussein al-Houthi as a requirement within the courses in colleges.
The Houthi militia mocks all international conventions and children's rights and has worked to turn children into long-term terrorist projects, by recruiting them and sending them to incinerators under sectarian and sectarian slogans.
The Deputy Permanent Representative of Yemen to the United Nations, Marwan Noman, revealed that the number of children recruited into the Houthi militia has reached more than 30,000 children who face the most heinous types of violations by brainwashing them in so-called “cultural courses” and mobilizing them with sectarian and extremist ideas before being thrown into the incinerators of death in battle fronts.
