Since its takeover of educational institutions, the terrorist Houthi militia has been targeting the minds of children and youth, improvising them with sectarian Houthi ideas, and brainwashing them with extremist ideological approaches, which leads to generations loyal to them and believing in their beliefs, turning them into soldiers in their battles and wars.
The pro-Iranian militia has changed and modified the curricula in its areas of control, adding sectarian lessons within the curricula of some subjects, and amending the curricula of Islamic education, the Prophet’s biography, even the Arabic language and the rest of the classroom curricula.
The Houthi group was able to control the education sector almost completely, after the escalation of their loyalists in the Ministry of Education and the educational corps, primary, secondary and university, and they also appointed Houthi social supervisors in schools, to follow up on lessons and weekly lectures for students under the name of "confronting the intellectual and cultural invasion", which Through which students are indoctrinated into sectarian ideas.
The militia obliged school principals to force students to chant the Houthi cry in the morning queue instead of national peace, and the social supervisors motivate students during the school queue to participate in the fighting and confront what they call “aggression.” In addition, the supervisors in the weekly lectures teach students sectarian sectarian lessons. .
Sana’a University was the first educational institution that the Houthis entered after their takeover of Sana’a, and they closed major departments in it, such as the Department of Philosophy, History, and the French language, and opened other departments to teach Persian and the history of the Khomeinist revolution. The militia imposed Lieutenant-Colonel Hussein al-Houthi as a requirement within the courses in colleges.
The Houthi militia mocks all international conventions and children's rights and has worked to turn children into long-term terrorist projects, by recruiting them and sending them to incinerators under sectarian and sectarian slogans.
The Deputy Permanent Representative of Yemen to the United Nations, Marwan Noman, revealed that the number of children recruited into the Houthi militia has reached more than 30,000 children who face the most heinous types of violations by brainwashing them in so-called “cultural courses” and mobilizing them with sectarian and extremist ideas before being thrown into the incinerators of death in battle fronts.
The Houthi militia regularly organizes cultural courses and summer centers for children and adolescents to instill its sectarian and sectarian culture in their minds.
According to reports by the militia media, the Sana’a secretariat alone witnessed the opening of about 6,000 Houthi summer centers, while the majority of students who are not loyal to the Houthis are helpless, who were forced to stay in Sana’a because it was their workplace and because there were no safe alternatives for them.
The deputy foreign minister of the coup, Hussein Al-Ezzi, admitted that the number of people enrolled in the "summer centers" had reached an unexpected number, explaining on Twitter that the number of those enrolled had reached 620,000 trainees in the centers opened by the militia in its areas of control, stressing that this number was above what I expected.
