Aden, NewsYemen:

Southern political activist Thabet Amer al-Awlaki praised the Emirati military role in Shabwa and saving the governorate, which he said was on the verge of completely falling into the hands of the Houthi militia.

Al-Awlaki said, in a post on his Facebook, that for the Houthi militia, Shabwa was a foregone conclusion, and its sleeper cells had reached Ataq hotels and were waiting for the zero hour, to overthrow the governorate’s capital, before the UAE intervened in overtime and flipped the equation over to Iran’s militias.

Al-Awlaki added that the Houthi militia entered the Shabwa districts as a result of the Brotherhood’s weakness and complicity, noting that the UAE and the southern giants had eliminated the dreams and ambitions of Iran’s arm and expelled it from the Bayhan districts.

Al-Awlaki continued, addressing Brotherhood activists, had it not been for the UAE, al-Houthi would have reached Ataq after the scandalous extradition of Bayhan, and we also have no problem with the UAE, and we will defend it if necessary.
