Southerners said that the south has become the guarantor of a just solution to the Yemeni crisis, and the demands of the southern people to restore the state with full sovereignty should not be ignored. The changes brought about by the Houthi war since 2015, confirmed by all accounts that the south and its forces have become the main partner of the Arab coalition in the fight against the Houthis and the fight against terrorism and its forms.
They stressed that the south, with its people, its Southern Transitional Council and its armed forces, is the land and those on it, and therefore it is the main strong party whose success depends on the conditions of its constants, which are: the right of the people of the south to self-determination and the restoration of their state, and there is no dialogue except with those keen to prevent the transformation of Yemen into a pressure card in Iran's hand.
They considered the south to be the key to the solution and the key to security and stability in the region, and a message to all international and regional sponsors that the just solution is to the satisfaction of the people. Emphasizing that any desire to impose solutions that do not meet the aspirations of the people is just ink on paper, and the experiences of history are many. How many wars have arisen because of imposing solutions, not agreed upon.
They pointed out that peace depends on the withdrawal of the militias of the forces of Sanaa, both Brotherhood and Houthi, from Wadi Hadramawt, Al-Mahra and Mukairas, and the restoration of the southern state on its internationally recognized borders before 1990.
They made it clear that any upcoming political dialogues, which are scheduled to be held during the near period, will not achieve their goals, except by achieving the demands of the south, and at the same time, the southerners no longer care about dialogues as much as the most important interest is in liberating the rest of their land, and restoring the southern state with full and undiminished sovereignty.
