The Houthi militia pushed its officials or what it calls "cultural and educational supervisors" to Al-Amana schools, which are under its control, with the aim of recruiting students and sending them to the battlefronts.
Researcher Abdullah Yahya Al-Alfi said, on his Twitter account, that his two sons, Muhammad (third secondary) and Fuad (first secondary), returned today (Thursday) from school and told the family that a cultural supervisor from the Houthi militia visited their school and gave a lecture in each class urging students On the "duty to join the fronts".
Al-Olfi added that the Houthi supervisor told the students in the school's classes: "There is no neutrality... you are either a mujahid or a hypocrite." As he put it.
For weeks, influential Houthi militiamen have been roaming Sanaa schools under several names, with the aim of luring the largest possible number of students and pushing them to the fronts to compensate for the human losses that the militia has suffered during the recent period.
The militia, which controls the education sector, obliged Sanaa's public and private schools to organize cultural and discourse events in the presence of all educational cadres.
