Aden, NewsYemen:

The Political Bureau of the National Resistance announced its support for the call of the brothers in the United Arab Emirates, the international community, the United Nations, and the Security Council to abandon the truce of the terrorist Houthi militia, which committed the most heinous crimes against Yemenis and targeted civilian facilities in neighboring countries.

In an official statement, the Political Bureau said that it followed with great interest the statement issued by the sisterly United Arab Emirates at the last Security Council session on Yemen, held on February 15, describing the UAE position in this regard as "strong and responsible."

The statement stressed that this position condemning the crimes and violations of the Houthi militias, and calling on the international community to take serious action to stop the militias' tampering, and to emphasize solidarity with the Yemeni people, is an extension of the UAE's active role within the Arab coalition, and its influential political movement in international forums to intensify pressure on the militias and restore  Security and stability in Yemen, and its support in the economic and humanitarian fields.

The Political Bureau called on the international community, the United Nations and the Security Council to stop pacifying the Houthi militias and assume their legal responsibilities regarding the crimes and violations they commit, and their continued obstruction of peaceful solutions to the crisis, and the intensification of human suffering .

He pointed out that the language of conciliation during the past years did not succeed in prompting the Houthi militias to review their positions and motivate them to engage in efforts to establish peace, but rather prompted them to adopt the language of escalation, violating all agreements, and seeking to consolidate their control through force, weapons, and terrorism, and act as an Iranian tool to destabilize security and stability.  The region, targeting Saudi Arabia and the UAE.  Threatening commercial ships and international shipping lines and lanes.

The Political Bureau called on the United Nations to declare the Houthi militias and their leaders a terrorist organization, and to exert serious pressure to stop Iranian arms smuggling operations, and the recruitment and use of children as fuel for its absurd battles.
