On Saturday evening, the joint forces repelled a Houthi attack in the Al-Jarrahi district, south of Al-Hodeidah, and captured the village of Al-Hashash in the district.

Special sources told NewsYemen that the forces of the First and Second Tihama Brigades in the joint forces were able to advance and control the village of Bani Al-Hashash, and expelled the Houthi militia from it.

The commander of the second brigade, Tuhama, Brigadier General Fouad Jahannam, said that the Houthi militia tried yesterday evening to advance towards the brigade's positions, and blew up the water tank of the village of Bani al-Hashash, which caused the injury of 4 civilians and the death of an elderly woman.

He stressed that units of the second brigade, and the first, Tihama, managed to control the Houthi militia positions, killing approximately 10 terrorists, and destroying many vehicles, including 4.5 and 12.7 caliber kits, and many of the vehicles used by the militias to kill civilians.

He explained that the forces secured the village about 5 kilometers north, and the forces are still penetrating to protect civilians.

He stressed the readiness of the forces to enter the city of Al-Jarrahi, but what prevents them is the Stockholm Agreement.

For his part, the commander of the 3rd Battalion in the 2nd Brigade Tuhama, Colonel Hassan Abdel Wahab, said that civilians are a red line, and whenever the terrorist Houthi militia tries to approach them, they will advance and purify the land and people from the taint of the putschists.

The Houthi militia had bombed the September 26 school and the water tank of the village of Bani Al-Hashash, and deliberately killed the citizen, Rafiq Omar Salem Hashash, and caused the injury of four civilians, and the killing of an elderly woman from that village.
