UAE: Al-Houthi threatens regional peace and security and exploits Hodeidah port for piracy

The United Arab Emirates confirmed that the crimes of the terrorist Houthi militia threaten regional peace and security.

The Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council, Saqr Ghobash, said during his meeting with Tobias Ellwood, Chairman of the Defense Affairs Committee in the British House of Commons, that the Houthi militia's failure to comply with the Stockholm Agreement on Hodeidah, and its exploitation of the port to practice piracy, affects the security and safety of maritime traffic in the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Red Sea.

He referred to the Houthi terrorist militia's crimes as a threat to regional peace and security.

Ghobash called on the United Kingdom to classify the Houthis as a terrorist organization, referring to the UAE's humanitarian role in Yemen.
