On Tuesday, a mine left by the Houthi militia killed two workers in the Saudi "Masam" mine-clearing project, and wounded another, in Hodeidah Governorate, western Yemen.
The Saudi Demining Project "Masam" said on its Twitter account that two deminers were killed and a third wounded, while performing their humanitarian duty in Hays district, south of Hodeidah governorate, west of Yemen.
The number of Houthi mine victims working in the Masam project has risen to 30 dead and 34 wounded, since the beginning of 2018.
An engineer in the project was injured on January 20, as a result of a mine explosion in a vehicle carrying an engineering team belonging to Masam, while it was passing in the "Wadi Daqiq" area in the Asilan district, west of Shabwa governorate in the south of the country.
