A member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Salem Thabet Al-Awlaki, praised the efforts of the Governor of Shabwa, Muhammad Al-Awlaki, to turn the page on the secret prisons carried out by the Ben Adyo Brotherhood militia.
Al-Awlaki said, in a tweet, that Shabwa Governorate is turning the page on secret prisons, arbitrary arrests, torture, kidnapping of identity travelers and other Brotherhood crimes over the past period.
He blessed those who were released and their families, and praised the efforts of the governor, who made this file a top priority, and punished the rest of the detainees unjustly and slanderously.
