A Houthi leader assaults the chief of the court in Sana'a

On Monday, February 7, a Sana'a court issued a ruling to imprison the leader and influential member of the Houthi militia, Hussein Dirham Yahya Al-Moayad, for two years, against the background of the (Al-Moayad) assault on the appointed head of the court in southeast of the Secretariat, Judge Khaled Al-Athori.
According to judicial sources, last Saturday, Al-Moayad assaulted the appointed head of the court by hitting him in the face.
The Judges Club in Sana'a renewed the warning for what it described as "dangerous slopes that the situation will lead to, as a result of interference in the work of the judiciary by influential people or parties." In reference to Houthi leaders' interference in judicial affairs.
He pointed out that Judge Khaled Al-Athoury, President of the South East Amana Court, was attacked by an impersonator of an inspection judge to pass papers that do not meet the legal conditions.
He pointed to the detention of (Al-Moayad) before he was taken out with the complicity of some, assaulting the president of the court while he was in the courtyard to perform some administrative tasks.
This incident coincided with the firing of a group affiliated with a Houthi leader on the appointed head of the Bani Al-Harith court.
In a statement, NewsYemen received a copy of it. The Judges Club in Sana'a said that this repeated audacity of those he described as outlaws will not stop their sinful hands around the judiciary and its men, but will extend to all state institutions.
