Sudden shutdown of Aden power stations and the Foundation clarifies

 The General Electricity Corporation in Aden explained the reasons for the sudden shutdown of the electricy service, at noon today.

The Corporation said in a statement that at one o'clock in the afternoon, one of the 33k.v transmission departments between Mansoura Electricity and Shahnaz Station Number One was exposed to a defect that led to the outage of all power stations.

The communication indicated that all the technical teams rushed to isolate the fault circuit and are working at the present time to gradually restore the generation stations to service.

The General Electricity Corporation in Aden expressed its deep regret to the citizens due to the defect beyond its control.
