The southern leader, Wadah bin Attia, refuted the crimes of Al-Houthi, which he said exceeded ISIS:
- Executions on political charges.
- Planting hundreds of thousands of mines in random ways.
- Planting booby-traps even in mosques.
- Bombing residential neighborhoods and facilities, killing hundreds.
- Accusing anyone who disagrees with them of employment and sustenance.
- Claiming that the rule is theirs, and those who reject them consider him a devil.
The journalist, Muhammad Nasser al-Awlaki, said that interruption of humanitarian aid is terrorism, kidnapping is terrorism, striking missiles over civilian homes and civilian facilities is terrorism, imposing religious belief on others is terrorism, hijacking the authority by armed force without the right of terrorism, and rejecting peaceful solutions and international resolutions is terrorism.
