The head of Alyoum Althamen newspaper, journalist Saleh Abu Awdal, said that what the Houthi militia has been doing for eight years of targeting and bombing civilians in the south and northern governorates, as well as targeting Saudi Arabia and the UAE, are acts of terrorism.
Abu Awdal added, in an intervention on Al-Ghad Al-Mashriq channel, that "the terrorism practiced by Al-Houthi is the first classification before Washington and the international community classify them," adding: Al-Houthi is supposed to be on the list of terrorism, as his project is based on terrorism. In addition, he is linked to terrorist groups, al-Qaeda and ISIS
Journalist Abu Awdal called on the legitimate government to take a clear and explicit stance towards Al-Houthi, by liberating from Brotherhood control, which has a relationship of interests and influence with Al-Houthi and hinders the work of the presidency and government.
He believed that the victory over the Houthis requires a strong and real position from the government, which contributes to strengthening the American threats to the Iranian-backed group and other regional parties that are constantly working to keep the Houthi outside the list of terrorism and also in control of Sanaa and the provinces that are still under his control.
On the victories achieved by the forces of the southern giants in Shabwa governorate, Abu Awdal said that they were heavy blows to the Houthis, pointing out that the latter was trying to bomb the UAE, Saudi Arabia and civilian sites in the southern governorates to cover up and hide the defeat he suffered and exposed that he is a tool of crime and terrorism and only succeeds by bombing civilians and implementing the financier's agenda.
