A Houthi field commander was killed by the southern forces in Al-Dhalea

 The media center of the Al-Dhalea Front confirmed the killing of a leader in the Houthi militia at the hands of the southern forces, on Wednesday.

According to the front's media center, the sniper units of the southern armed forces stationed on the Al-Dhalea fronts were able to carry out sniping operations in which they were able to target a number of Houthi militia members in more than one sector, killing and wounding a number of them, including a senior field commander.

An operational source in the Martyr Al-Shobaji Brigade indicated that a prominent field commander of the militia had been killed, yesterday morning, Wednesday, while visiting the front lines in the Shamriya-Battar sector, after he was monitored and directly targeted by a sniper operation that led to his death instantly.

The source added that the leader belongs to the town of Shamriya, which is affiliated to the Al-Hasha district, and belongs to the Al-Fatahi family.  The militias were on the way to promote him to the honorable rank, as it is the highest leadership rank granted by the militias to their field leaders
