The joint forces dismantle a minefield planted by the Houthi militia south of Hodeidah

The engineering teams of the joint forces dismantled a minefield from the remnants of the Houthi militia in the Hays district, south of Hodeidah Governorate, western Yemen.

 The joint forces’ media reported that the engineering teams completed, on Wednesday, the dismantling and dismantling of a minefield planted by Iranian-backed militias in the village of Mahwa Al-Subai’, west of the city of Hays, before it was destroyed.

He explained that the work in clearing the minefield took 72 hours, noting that work is continuing to survey the rest of the neighboring areas, especially those that have recently witnessed casualties among citizens.

A civilian from Hays called Khadem Sadeq Karmani, 72, was killed last Friday by the explosion of an anti-tank mine, which the Houthi militia turned into an individual mine through pedals, and led to the discovery of a minefield.
