Gargash on the missile attack on the UAE: Our provocation will not work

Adviser to the President of the UAE, Anwar Gargash, affirmed his country's determination to move forward in achieving its "strategic vision" and its ability to deal with "threats of terrorist organizations."
This came after the UAE Ministry of Defense announced, in the early hours of today, that its air defenses had intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia from Yemen towards the Emirates.
Gargash tweeted "We are determined on our goals and strategic vision towards contributing to building a stable and prosperous region for all,"
He added, "Our provocation will not work, as we do not see the threats of terrorist organizations and their fantasies based on illusions as more than a passing matter that will be dealt with in a way that guarantees our security and national sovereignty, and whoever tests the UAE is mistaken."
In comments on the Houthi attacks on the UAE earlier this month, Gargash spoke of an "Arab consensus and without any country's reservations" on the UAE draft resolution in the Arab League, which calls for the designation of "Ansar Allah" Houthis as a terrorist organization.
