The battles waged by the southern forces with the support of the Arab coalition changed the equation of the war in Yemen and inflicted crushing defeats on Iran's arm, the beginning of which was the liberation of the southern provinces, to its victories on the western coast, the last of which was the purification of the three Bayhan districts in Shabwa and the securing of Harib in Marib.
The victories achieved by the southern forces on various fronts proved that the south has become a large number in the equation of breaking the Houthi thorn, according to the leader of the Transitional Council, Ahmed Omar bin Farid.
Ibn Farid said in a tweet to him on Twitter, that one of the biggest mistakes made by the legitimacy institution was not appreciating and valuing the true strength of the "south" as a political, military and public value, and it dealt with it superficially and opportunistically.
Ibn Farid stressed that the south has proven every day that it is a large number in the equation of breaking the Houthi thorn, and any disregard for his cause will lead to more failure, adding: "Respect the south, it will respect you."
A member of the STC delegation in Riyadh, Anis Al-Sharafi, said that the field facts since March 2015 confirm that the south has spearheaded the drawing of peace and strengthening international security and peace in the most important corridors of international shipping.
Al-Sharafi added that the facts proved that the south is capable of changing the equation at any moment. Operation Southern Cyclone is proof that there is no alternative to an independent south.
The Emirati academic, Abdul Khaliq Abdullah, confirmed that the forces of the southern giants, during their recent battles in Shabwa and Marib, taught the Houthi militia a lesson that they will not forget and confirmed that whoever cooperates with the UAE wins.
And he said in a tweet to him on Twitter, that the UAE-backed Southern Giants Brigades, after achieving amazing victories and completing their tasks to the fullest and teaching Al-Houthi a lesson he will never forget, announced the cessation of their military operations, repositioning and returning to their bases.

In the context, the head of the South24 Center, Iyad Al-Shuaibi, said that the southern giants cut off the aggressor's hand on the south and bridled the platforms of the Brotherhood in Qatar, which was waiting in Shabwa worse.
