Saudi Arabia condemns the terrorist attack on Abu Dhabi airport and holds the Houthis responsible

On Monday, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemned, in the strongest terms, the "cowardly terrorist attack that targeted Abu Dhabi Airport" in the United Arab Emirates, which led to the death of 3 people and the injury of 6 others.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, in a statement reported by SPA, that the terrorist act in Abu Dhabi, which the Houthi militia is behind, confirms the danger of this group.

It affirmed that the Kingdom stands with the United Arab Emirates against all that threatens its security and stability.


The statement added: Saudi Arabia stresses that it continues to confront all terrorist attempts and practices of the Houthi militia through its leadership of the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia offered its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of the UAE, and also wishes a speedy recovery to all those injured in this attack.

 Today, the Abu Dhabi Police confirmed the outbreak of a fire, which led to an explosion in 3 petroleum tanks transporting fuel in the Musaffah Icad 3 area, near ADNOC's tanks, in addition to a minor fire accident in the new construction area at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
