2,231 Houthi mines were cleared in the last week of 2021

The Saudi "Masam" project to clear mines in Yemen announced that it managed to remove 2,440 mines, explosive devices and unexploded ordnance during the last week of 2021.
According to a statement issued by Masam Project, 15 anti-personnel mines, 1,318 anti-tank mines, 1,097 unexploded ordnance and 10 improvised explosive devices were dismantled, bringing the number of mines cleared in December to 10,499.
The statement added: "The total that has been extracted since the beginning of the project so far has reached 300,852 mines planted by the Houthi coup group."
