Dead and wounded in violent clashes between Brotherhood forces in Shuqrah
English - Sunday 05 December 2021 الساعة 07:29 pm4 soldiers were killed and others were wounded, as clashes erupted between two security factions of the Muslim Brotherhood in the city of Shuqrah in Abyan governorate, on Sunday afternoon.
Local sources said that the clashes erupted after a dispute over fees, as the special forces led by Muhammad Al-Auban attacked the Shuqrah police building, the headquarters of the governorate's security director, Abu Mishaal Al-Kazmi, with light and medium weapons.
Eyewitnesses stated that a street war between the two sides took place in the city center and in the main street, causing at least 4 deaths and a large number of injuries.
The situation is still tense, and intermittent clashes are taking place in the city between the two sides of the Brotherhood conflict.
Residents of the city issued a distress call to stop the clashes after their homes were damaged.
