The commander of the engineering team in the Seventh Giants Brigade, Alaa Al-Khishni, confirmed today, Saturday, that they received a report from the residents of Al-Hasab village, located east of Hays in Al-Hodeidah, about explosive devices at Al-Farouq School, so that the team began to disembark immediately.
He pointed out that networks and booby-traps were found connected to networks of devices planted by the militias with high explosive dynamite throughout the columns, inside classrooms and school columns, and they were connected to electrical wires connected under the foundations to a remote detonator.
Al-Khishni explained that the blasting operation was aborted, and the team was able to separate the main detonating device and dismantle and take out all the explosive dynamite devices that the militias used to detonate and blow up the school.
He pointed out that the Houthi militia booby-trapped the school in a terrorist manner, without taking into account the dangers committed by the terrorist group against the students, and was preparing to detonate it, prior to its escape and defeat from the villages of Hays countryside, which the joint forces surprised by a qualitative operation amid great collapses in the ranks of their members.
