10 civilians were killed and others were injured in a Houthi mine explosion on the Kilo 16 line, east of the city of Hodeidah.
Local sources reported that the Houthi mine exploded in the Kilo 16 area, which is controlled by the Houthi militias, towards the Jamishah section; As a result, 10 civilians were killed and others wounded.
The Houthi militia, which planted hundreds of mines in those areas, refused to remove them to allow the safe passage of citizens.
The joint forces had redeployed from those areas in implementation of the Stockholm Agreement, but the Houthi militia refused and began unilateral measures in military and administrative control of areas covered by the Stockholm Agreement, which imposes on regional and international organizations to pressure them to vacate those areas of weapons and hand over constitutional authority before 2014. Administrative tasks in accordance with the terms of the Hodeidah agreement, which the militias repudiated from its implementation and subjected the areas of the agreement in Hodeidah to the authority of the coup in Sana’a.
