Aden, NewsYemen:

Journalist Muhammad Saeed Bahaddad expected that after Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan announced that the situation in Yemen, militarily and diplomatically, had reached a dead end, he would include the support of the southern people among the Kingdom's positions.

Haddad said, in a tweet, that I expect Saudi Arabia's positions to be progressive regarding supporting the people of the south to obtain their legitimate rights to freedom, independence, and the restoration of the southern state.

He pointed out that Saudi Arabia's interest is in the south and in the establishment of a southern civil state.

For his part, the political activist, Malik Yazid Al-Yafei, said for the first time that Saudi Arabia has stated that the political and military situation in Yemen has reached a dead end.

He stressed that such a statement confirms that the Kingdom will completely change its strategy in Yemen, starting with getting rid of the previous failure papers and resorting to the card that was ignored for years and was finally realized as the winning card and the only success option.

In an interview with France 24, the Saudi minister expressed his country's regret that the Houthi militia did not agree to the initiative launched by the Kingdom to cease fire in Yemen earlier this year, noting that the situation in Yemen has reached a diplomatic and military dead end.
