Aden, NewsYemen:

The American newspaper, "The Wall Street Journal", said that the decision of the administration of President "Joe Biden" to remove the Houthi militia from the list of terrorism had counterproductive results that encouraged them to escalate their war instead of engaging in negotiations to end the war as the new US administration envisaged.

In an editorial, the Wall Street Journal reported that the White House had hoped the decision to remove the Houthis from the list of foreign terrorist organizations would "encourage them to negotiate an end to this war, but their response was to continue to advance."

She pointed out that the Houthi militia launched "hundreds of attacks on Saudi territory, where tens of thousands of Americans live, in conjunction with these militias deliberately targeting civilians."

And she added, "The Houthis and their supporters in Iran see that the United States of America is abandoning an ally, and they have taken advantage of the opportunity to achieve their goal in field progress, and they also see that the American administration refuses to intercept Iranian weapons supplies."

The American newspaper reported that the Houthi militia had kidnapped Yemeni employees who were part of the American embassy staff in Sanaa, and then stormed the embassy compound a few days ago.

The "Wall Street Journal" confirmed that the Biden administration does not have a realistic vision to end the war in Yemen by its decision to remove the militia from the terrorist list and stop supporting the Arab coalition.
