Marib, NewsYemen:

Military sources revealed that an undeclared republican decision was issued appointing Major General Yahya Salah, who is close to Lieutenant-General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, as commander of the third military region in Marib Governorate.

Major General Salah is one of the prominent military arms of General Mohsen, and has held many positions, including commander of the Fifth Military District.

Soldiers accuse Major General Salah of handing over fully equipped camps belonging to the Fifth Military District to the Houthi militias in Midi and Abs.

He also failed the Hajour tribes during their uprising against the Houthi militia, and rejected the directives of the Ministry of Defense and the Arab Coalition, when the Hajouri Brigade advanced the Haradh axis, to reinforce the sons of Hajour.

According to one of the escorts of the commander of the First Brigade, Special Forces, the Haradh Al-Hajouri axis, he said that the commander of the Fifth Region refused to fight against the Houthis in the Hajour events, on the pretext that he had not received any directives from the Vice President of the Republic nor from the Joint Operations Command.

Commenting on the decision, journalist Khaled Salman said that the legitimacy of Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar celebrates the defeated and honors the defeat, commenting on the appointment of Major General Yahya Salah.

Salman said, on his Twitter account, that Major General Yahya Salah had handed over the brigades with all their equipment and equipment in the fifth region in Midi and Abs to the Houthis, so Al-Ahmar appointed him commander of the third region, in addition to other appointments calculated on Islah to speed up the handover of the remaining Ma'rib Houthi.
