Aden, NewsYemen:

On Thursday, a prominent parliamentarian and tribal leader in Shabwa returned to the province, amid popular and tribal turmoil, after the Muslim Brotherhood handed over the three Bayhan districts to the Houthi militia, without a fight.

Tribal and local sources said that Sheikh Awad Muhammad bin Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki returned to the Nisab district, after an absence outside Yemen that lasted 6 years.

The sources added that hundreds of people from the governorate gathered to receive Sheikh Awad Al-Awlaki, in a quorum.

The return of the prominent tribal leader came within a call he launched to hold a consultative meeting for the people of Shabwa, against the background of the Muslim Brotherhood handing over the Bayhan districts, west of the governorate, to the Houthi militia.

The meeting aims to unite the tribes of Shabwa and close ranks to face the repercussions of the betrayal of Bayhan, as well as to counter new conspiracies aimed at handing over more areas of the governorate to the Houthi militias.
