Sana'a, NewsYemen, private:

Informed sources in the capital, Sanaa, revealed to NewsYemen that the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, has begun implementing a new plan of communication and coordination with leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen (the Islah Party) with the aim of reaching future understandings regarding some areas in which the militias are present with  Brotherhood control, most notably the province of Taiz.

According to the sources, the recent movements made by the leadership of the National Resistance Forces (Guardians of the Republic), led by Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, and their visit to the Al-Wazi’iyah Directorate and the meetings that took place between them and the sheikhs and figures of the Directorate, and the subsequent military movements of these forces and their entry on the front line with the Houthi militia in those areas,  It sparked panic among the leaders of the Houthi militia.

The sources added that leaders of the Houthi militia began an intensive process of communication with leaders of the Islah Party (the Brotherhood of Yemen) with the aim of confronting any rapprochement between the Taiz axis and the Republican Guard forces.

The sources pointed out that Brotherhood leaders in Taiz outside Yemen play a role in communicating with Houthi leaders outside and inside Yemen, noting that Brotherhood leader Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi - who was leading the Taiz resistance before he fled to Turkey and then built a factory to produce prosthetic limbs for the war-wounded in the Sultanate of Oman  In partnership with Houthi leaders - he and his Houthi counterparts, including leaders in the Sultanate's capital, Muscat, undertake these understandings.

The sources confirm that the process of communication and understandings come within regional agendas that serve Iranian, Turkish, and Qatari orientations, targeting Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the rest of the Arab coalition countries. It is expected that these understandings will follow field procedures.

NewsYemen's editor monitored the appointment of security directors for Hodeidah Governorate and Dhu Bab district, all of which are subject to the joint forces, including the Republican Guard.

The decision to appoint a security director for Hodeidah and the Dhu Bab district in Taiz was taken by the Brotherhood’s authorities without any coordination with the joint forces, and it is a prelude to opening conflicts between the two parties despite all the letters of welcome and unity.
