Taiz, NewsYemen:

A child and a soldier were killed and five others were injured during the explosion of an explosive device in an officer and leader's crew in the Islah Party, the Brotherhood's branch, today, Tuesday, in Al-Misrakh, south of Taiz Governorate.

A local source told NewsYemen that unidentified gunmen planted an explosive device in the group of the leader of the Islah party, Colonel Muhammad Al-Aidi, and it exploded this afternoon, Tuesday, in the Shamar area, Izlat Al-Aqrod, affiliated to Al-Misrakh Directorate.

According to the source, the explosion of the explosive device in the kit killed the child Issa Fateh Muhammad Ahmad Al-Amri, 12 years old, and the companion of Colonel Muhammad Al-Aidi, the soldier Muhammad Abd Al-Salam Abdullah Abbas, and five others were seriously injured.

The assassination attempt on Colonel Muhammad al-Aidi came three days after the assassination of the famous leader of the Islah Party, Dhia al-Haq al-Sami'i, by a gunman who was accompanying him, in the center of Taiz.
