Shabwa, NewsYemen, Adnan Al Hammadi:

Military and tribal sources in Shabwa warned of a new conspiracy aimed at arming the Houthi militia by opening fronts for Brotherhood forces in the areas handed over to the militias last month.

The sources said that the announcement of the opening of fronts by the Muslim Brotherhood units in Shabwa against the Houthi militia aims to enable the Houthi militia to seize weapons and military equipment from these fronts as part of the indirect armament operations carried out by the Brotherhood forces in favor of the Houthis.

The sources confirmed that the process of empowering the Houthis with the weapon of the Arab coalition that it provided to the national army, whose decision and leadership is controlled by the Brotherhood, has been continuing since the fall of Nihm and the districts of Al-Bayda, all the way to the districts of Shabwa.

The sources said that the Brotherhood forces leave weapons to the Houthi militias, although there are other options to get rid of them or transfer them early, as happens when Brotherhood leaders withdraw before the Houthis arrive in a sufficient period of time to enable the Houthis to arm themselves with it.

Brotherhood activists raced to publish news of field victories in Shabwa, just one hour after announcing the launch of a military operation in Usaylan, on Wednesday, leading the news even to a Russian international agency.

On Wednesday, the Brotherhood began talking about a military operation in the Usaylan district, northwest of Shabwa, to restore the positions from which their forces withdrew last month without much resistance.

It was claimed that the announcement of the outcome of important field gains in record time for the Brotherhood’s forces, including the liberation of a military brigade site, turned these illusory victories into a meal for ridicule by activists and soldiers from the sons of Shabwa, familiar with the facts of what is happening on the ground.

Political and tribal sources in Shabwa considered the announcement of the opening of new fronts in the governorate by the same military leaders close to the governor of Shabwa, Ibn Adyo, as a step to complete the scheme to hand over the Shabwa governorate to the Houthi militias by the Muslim Brotherhood through their representative in the governorate, Ibn Udayo.

The sources said that it was these leaders and forces that fled and handed over three directorates to the Houthi militia within a few days, while they were negligent in preparing to secure these areas when the militias stayed preparing to invade them for a whole month in the upper Al-Qana`a Obstacle and the mountains overlooking Bayhan.

Sheikh Muhammad al-Fatimi, one of the most prominent social figures in Bayhan, confirmed in a television interview that the handover of the three districts of Shabwa, Bayhan, Usaylan and Ain, came based on understandings between the Houthi militia and the Muslim Brotherhood to hand over the entire Shabwa governorate to the Houthis.

Al-Fatimi said that the Brotherhood authorities sent 30 kits to Baihan to suppress the transitional activity that it set up on July 7, and this force alone was enough to repel the Houthi rebel militia while attacking Baihan.
