Shabwa, NewsYemen:

n full swing, the Houthi militia continues to implement its sectarian project in the 3 districts it still controls in Shabwa Governorate, while there are no indications of any intention of the local authority and the military axes in the governorate to restore it.

On Monday, the militia held another sectarian event in Bayhan, this time under the pretext of celebrating the Prophet's birthday, where the site of the event was dominated by green flags and fabrics, while children were the most prominent present in an indication of the movement's focus on targeting this group with programmes, seminars and courses.

This comes days after the arrival of a number of Beihan youths coming from Saada governorate after receiving a "cultural course" by Houthi militia experts and cadres in an effort to prepare them to be a nucleus for expansion in and around Beihan districts.

Shabwa governorate is witnessing a wave of overwhelming discontent with the civil and military authorities, who said that they abandoned their responsibilities towards the country and towards them, and left them to face their fate in front of a tyrannical militia force that will not hesitate to abuse them.

The residents explain that they did not see any movement by the authorities to defend the three districts from the Houthis, who took control of them without a fight, and there is no indication today that they intend to go ahead with the liberation process, which the governor, Ibn Adyo, has been repeating in the media.

They added that the appearance of Ibn Adyo on board a military kit carrying his personal weapon, threatening to expel the Houthis from the districts of Bayhan represented them a glimmer of hope that soon faded after they realized with the days that it was a demonstration appearance to absorb the overwhelming popular anger due to people's sense of betrayal.

Since the first day of its control over the districts of Usaylan, Ain and Al-Alia last month, the militia began to erect its slogans inciting violence and hatred in paintings in public streets, markets and state institutions, and printed them on walls, and replaced the preachers of mosques and those in charge of them from among its cadres.

People queues for long distances in front of the gas stores in the three districts, hoping to get a gas cylinder to no avail. The situation is no different from the gas stations.
