Tariq Saleh: The Houthi militia is taking advantage of the birth of the Prophet of Mercy to steal people's money

The head of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, said on Monday that the Houthi militia had turned the birthday of the Prophet of Mercy into a sectarian occasion for sectarianism and incitement.
Brigadier-General Tariq Saleh tweeted, on his Twitter account, coinciding with the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday, saying: “May God’s prayers be upon you, O Prophet of mercy, equality and freedom, we remember on your birthday all the values of tolerance and guidance in the face of those who use this great day to steal people’s money, and they say it is from God and it is not from God.”
He added, "It was a gathering day for Yemenis, so they turned it into a day of sectarianism and incitement."
The Houthi militia has turned the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday into a sectarian occasion, since its takeover of the capital, Sana’a, in September 2014. It is also using it as a pretext to loot Yemenis’ money, as well as to perpetuate its sectarian ideology.
