Aden, NewsYemen:

A member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Salem Al-Awlaki, considered that the fall of the Abdiya district center in the Ma’rib governorate (east of Sana’a) in the hands of the Houthi militia, is a natural extension of the chain of fall in Nihm, Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda and Bayhan districts.

Al-Awlaki said, on his Twitter account: "The fall of Al-Abdiyyah is a natural extension of the chain of falls in Nihm, Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda and Bayhan districts."

And he added, "Collapse becomes a prevalent characteristic when it has the same tools, faces, and corruption, and thus the result is collapse and failure," referring to the Brotherhood, which controls legitimacy.

On Friday, the Houthi militia took control of the center of the "Al-Abdiya" district, south of Ma'rib governorate, after imposing a siege on it for a period of three weeks, while the forces affiliated with the legitimate government did not intervene to break the siege.
