Instead of Marib.. Expatriates take Shabwa to Saudi Arabia

On Wednesday, local sources reported that the expatriates were unable to take the road linking the two governorates of Al-Bayda and Marib, to reach the Al-Abr region on their way to the land port between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.

She added that the expatriates returning from Saudi Arabia through the Al-Wadeah land port were prevented from passing through the Al-Abra Marib Al-Bayda road, which is the main artery for the passage of passengers and goods between the northern and eastern governorates.

 It explained that the expatriates took another path to reach their southern and northern governorates by heading towards Shabwa governorate and from there to Abyan governorate, then Aden and Taiz.

She added that the expatriates from the northern governorates headed from Bayhan, Shabwa, towards Al-Bayda governorate, through the Al-Qundah obstacle, before heading to Radaa, and from there to Dhamar and Sana'a.

The leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the Presidency of the General Staff called on citizens, on Tuesday, not to approach or pass on the road (Al-Juba, Harib, Marib - Al-Juba, Qani al-Bayda), as it is a military operation area.

She called on all citizens and residents to commit to preserving their lives and property.
