Marib, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Iran is fighting in Yemen with all its military, political, cultural and religious weight, while various Yemeni forces that fall under the umbrella of the legitimate government have not yet absorbed the magnitude of the changes on the ground, and are still determined to go beyond confronting Iran's arm.

Yesterday, Al-Jazeera and one of its correspondents published pictures of American soldiers saying that they were from the streets of Hadhramaut governorate, and that the UAE was the one who brought them into Yemen, and it seemed like a dangerous discovery after seven years of war and the entry of Yemen under Chapter VII.

The reporter himself and the channel did not stop in the face of the fall of 12 out of 14 directorates in the hands of Al Houthi within a few months and before the eyes of leaders such as the Vice President and Minister of Defense who are affiliated with the Islah party locally and Qatar regionally and spiritually.

According to data and reports, President Hadi’s adherence to many of these figures since the last government was formed more than a year ago is very shameful, as Defense Minister Muhammad al-Maqdashi and Vice President Ali Mohsen have been unable to preserve the areas that were liberated in 2015, 2016 and 2017.  Beginning with their coup against the consensus and the removal of Khaled Bahah to be replaced by a sick man.

Marib, which has become under the control of the Houthi militia, is considered the worst model in the eyes of observers, and it is falling rapidly in light of military reactions on the ground that are not reassuring, with the exception of coalition airstrikes.

The last statement of the Arab coalition was that it was protecting civilians in the Abdiya district, which has been besieged by the Houthi militia for 25 days, through more than 338 air sorties in just a week.

These raids have certainly resulted in many human reinforcements and military equipment, which the militia media never stops on, but this only means that Al Houthi is on his way to tightening his grip on Marib and oil and gas sources and threatening more than two million displaced people and permanent residents from governorates such as Sana’a, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Raymah, Al Hodeidah, Al Bayda, Hajjah and Imran.

Yemeni Foreign Minister Ahmed bin Mubarak, earlier, contented himself with condemning the militia after besieging Al-Abdiya, preventing medicine and food from reaching the population, preventing the evacuation of the wounded and targeting it with ballistic missiles and all kinds of heavy weapons, which he considered a flagrant violation of all principles of human rights and the rules of international humanitarian law.

This came during telephone conversations with the Resident Representative and Humanitarian Coordinator of the United Nations in Yemen, David Grisley, calling on the United Nations and its specialized agencies to urgently intervene to save the lives of civilians and end the brutal siege and condemn it as a war crime punishable by international law.

According to reports, the battles that Al-Houthi started in early February were fully prepared and carefully planned, with extensive logistical support from Iranian and Lebanese experts from Hezbollah, and under the directives of Hassan Irloo, who is currently in Sanaa as the de facto ruler.

Here we can ask: Who is besieging Abdiya and bringing down the districts of Marib every day, legitimacy in its current structure, or al-Houthi, who revealed his project from the first moment of the war he started in late 2014?!
