Aden, NewsYemen:

The Associated Press reported that US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan will travel to Saudi Arabia on Monday to hold discussions with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the situation in Yemen.

The report quoted sources as saying that Sullivan is also expected to meet with Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, brother of the crown prince.

US President Joe Biden said, in his first foreign policy address last February, that his administration was "terminating all US support for offensive operations in the Yemeni war, including related arms sales."

Biden promised that the United States would continue to help Saudi Arabia defend itself against missile attacks.
