Mocha, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The joint operations of the Giants Brigades announced in a statement, today, Wednesday, the details of the heinous crime of execution of two of the wounded in the shooting incident in the central qat market in Mocha last July.

The statement said that the execution incident, which was committed by gunmen belonging to the Al-Aghbra tribe in Ras Al-Ara on the coastal line, occurred despite the meeting held by leaders of the giants with Sheikhs from the Al-Sabiha tribe on the tenth of last July to address the issue.

He added that the two parties agreed to refer the case to security, with the wounded being sent for treatment in Aden, due to the lack of specialized hospitals on the west coast.

The statement indicated that the Public Prosecution Office in Al-Khokha decided, on Sunday, the eighth of August, to transfer the two wounded to Aden due to their poor health, while instructing the security leadership to accompany a military force to protect the wounded during their transfer to Aden.

He pointed out that this was done in coordination with the sheikhs of Al-Aghbra in the morning and informing them of the transfer of the injured to Aden in a legal manner and under heavy guard to prevent their escape, provided that they are returned to prison to complete investigations with them after their treatment.

He pointed out that the relatives and sheikhs of Al-Aghbra confirmed that the matter is impossible for security and the prosecution, and what the prosecution approved is being implemented, and in light of what we mentioned above, the two wounded were transferred. However, we were surprised that they were interrupted by armed men from the Al-Aghbra tribe and executed in a hideous manner.

Bloody clashes took place in the central market for the sale of qat on the sixth of last July, in which two Al-Sabiha tribes were killed and two soldiers from the Giants forces were wounded, in addition to the injury of civilians.

In addition, local sources indicated that a mediation led by a number of military leaders in the giant brigades from the sons of al-Sabiha failed to release the soldiers who were captured in the incident of intercepting a convoy carrying two wounded men belonging to the giants brigades.

According to the sources, the Aghbra tribe, according to its sheikhs, requested a three-day period to study the matter, come up with a unified position, and initiate a comprehensive and radical solution to the issue.

It explained that the delegation left the Aghbra tribe without reaching a solution, pending further consultations, moves and mediations to find equitable solutions between the two parties.
