Taiz..A young man was killed under torture in a military police prison

 Dr. Abdulhalim Al-Majashi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Rights and Freedoms Square in the city of Taiz, revealed the death of his cousin under torture in the military police prison.

Dr. Al-Majashi said, on his Facebook page, that his young cousin, Ahmed Yasser Abdullah Al-Shamiri, was kidnapped, imprisoned, and died under torture in the prison of the Military Police Forces in Taiz.

He added, that the so-called (A.S.), a military police security officer, kidnapped the young Ahmed Yasser at nine o'clock at night on Saturday, 7/8, 2021, without any permission from the prosecution, and they prevented his family from visiting him or bringing him food.

Al-Majashi pointed out that the young man, Ahmed Yasser Al-Shamiri, was tortured to death in the military police prison, and this morning, Saturday, they sent his body to the military hospital, pointing out that the victim was a civilian and had no political activity.

It is noteworthy that this crime is not the first of its kind in the city of Taiz, as it was preceded by the establishment of Brotherhood militias and forces affiliated with them, and dozens of civilians were killed.
