Attia: Corruption of legitimacy strengthens the position of the Houthis in the north

 Wadah bin Attia, a member of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, said that there is a hidden enemy that has made al-Houthi stand firm and strengthen his position in the northern governorates, and this enemy has given al-Houthi more power than what his protégé Iran offers.

He pointed out that all the facts on the ground prove undoubtedly that if it were not for the corruption of legitimacy and the influence of the brothers of Yemen, Al-Houthi would have been an impact after an eye, and this corruption is rampant according to a systematic work.

He stressed that printing hundreds of billions annually and buying dollars from the market to be disbursed to thousands of officials abroad, and flooding the local market with printed money, destroyed the local currency.  

The governorates are among the fugitives abroad and their salaries are paid in dollars while they do not practice their work and their role is limited to drumming up corrupt leaders and offending those who want to correct themselves on the ground.

He added: "The distribution of outlets and revenues between the corrupt and the forces of influence, as oil sales go to a special account in the name of Hadi abroad, and the resources of Ma'rib go to a special account for the Brotherhood of Yemen, and the resources of the deposit outlet more than one billion riyals per day go to the account of Awlad Al-Ahmar, and the outlets of Mahra go to  An account controlled by the facilitator and Hadi’s children.

Attia concluded his tweets, that the corruption of legitimacy on all fronts and in all institutions, the collapse of the currency and most of the people in starvation, according to international reports.
