Al-Houthi militia accused of kidnapping and torturing a civilian to death in Al-Bayda

 Local sources in Al-Bayda governorate accused the Houthi militia of kidnapping and killing a civilian under torture, in a crime that is added to its record of violations of the rights of civilians in the governorate it controls.

The sources indicated that the citizen Abdulaziz Abdullah Ahmed Al-Sawadi from the Al-Sawadiya district received a threat from the Houthi militia yesterday afternoon, before he was kidnapped the same evening.

It added that the kidnapped al-Sawadi was liquidated at 12 midnight and thrown between the areas of Tahiriya and al-Sawadiyah.

The sources indicated that the dead body was found bearing signs of torture.

This crime comes a day after the children of Al-Bayda commemorated the fifth anniversary of the kidnapping and liquidation of 4 sheikhs of the Al Omar tribe at the hands of the Houthi militia.
