Houthi Militia blew up 16 civilian homes in Taiz within 6 months

 A human rights report documented the bombing of 16 homes by the Houthi militia during the first half of this year in Taiz governorate.

The Information and Rehabilitation Center for Human Rights said that the Houthi militia committed 122 violations on private property during the first half of this year in Taiz.

He explained that the militia blew up 16 houses of civilians, and caused total damage to 18 houses and 43 others partially as a result of artillery shelling with various heavy weapons.

The report indicated that the Houthis also burned one house, damaged 39 private vehicles as a result of the intense shelling, and destroyed another vehicle due to the explosion of a landmine that passed it.

 The report monitored the damage to 4 other private properties, including shops and various equipment, as a result of the Houthi bombing.

In this context, the report monitored the commission of 14 cases of violations of civilian property in Taiz by armed militants outside the framework of the state (armed loyal to the Brotherhood), including the burning of a house, total damage to another house and a vehicle as a result of artillery shelling, storming and seizing another house, looting a vehicle, and damaging 5 shops with direct bullets.

According to the center, members of the government army committed 15 cases of violations of private property, causing total damage to 3 houses as a result of the bombing and partial damage to 3 other houses, 6 vehicles and a shop as a result of the bombing and live bullets.
