Special Security Forces assaulted an academic at the College of Education in Shabwa

Shabwa, NewsYemen:

 The Islah party militia, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, attacked an academic at the College of Education in Shabwa Governorate, southeast of Yemen.

Eyewitnesses told NewsYemen that a group of members of the so-called "Special Security Forces", affiliated with the Brotherhood, assaulted the professor at the Faculty of Education in Ataq, Abdulaziz Al-Dawil.

They added that the gunmen, led by an officer in the "Special Security", attacked Dr. Al-Dawil in one of Ataq's restaurants and attacked him with rifle butts, and insulted him with profanity.

Eyewitnesses stated that the academic at the College of Education submitted a report of the attack on him to the security authorities in Shabwa, but they ignored the matter and did nothing.
