A senior military commander was killed in clashes with tribal gunmen in Marib

 A high-ranking military commander, in the forces affiliated with legitimacy, was killed in armed clashes with tribesmen in the Marib Governorate, eastern Yemen.

Tribal sources said that Brigadier General Abdul Wahed Al-Haddad, commander of the 2nd Brigade Protecting Roads, was killed in clashes with tribal gunmen in Marib.

The sources pointed out that Brigadier General al-Haddad led a military campaign against militants from the "Obaida" tribes and was killed after armed clashes erupted between the two parties in the "Al-Arfin" area north of Marib.

The clashes also resulted in deaths and injuries of others, on both sides, according to the sources.
