At dawn on Wednesday, the Arab coalition thwarted a double attack by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on Saudi territory.

The official Saudi Press Agency, "SPA", said that the coalition forces intercepted and destroyed two drones and four ballistic missiles that were launched towards Jizan, in the south of the Kingdom.

The coalition added that the efficiency of the air defenses thwarted all the futile hostile attempts of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, stressing that "operational measures are taken to target sources of threat in accordance with international humanitarian law."

And at the beginning of the week, the Arab coalition reported that it had intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile and four booby-trapped drones launched by the Houthi militia towards Saudi Arabia.
