Sana'a, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Sources in the government under the control of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Sanaa, revealed to NewsYemen that directives were issued to all members of the government led by Dr. Bin Habtoor, which included the necessity of covering any government activity through Al Masirah channel.

And the American decisions to freeze Iranian media accounts revealed that Al Masirah TV is owned by an Iranian media authority, and it broadcasts from the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, where the Lebanese Hezbollah is the stronghold of the Iranian arm in Lebanon.

According to the sources, the directives that were given orally through Houthi Information Minister Dhaifallah al-Shami to the rest of the ministers came on the sidelines of the last meeting held by the government.  Any local or foreign TV channel except Al Masirah, which requires them to show their activities and efforts so that they can follow the militia leader and watch his activities and news.

According to the sources, the ministers of the militia government are racing to summon Al Masirah journalists and cameramen to any event or activity they undertake, believing that this will support their continuation in their positions if the militia leader witnesses it.

Despite the Houthi militia’s control of all audio-visual media and channels in the official and private capital, Sana’a, the directives revealed the militia leader’s closure to watching Al-Masirah channel, which speaks on behalf of his militia, which the sources described as a reflection of the militias’ lack of confidence in anyone other than their followers and loyalists, and their continued suspicion even for those who are now working within its propaganda chorus, such as workers in the official media channels in Sanaa and their Houthi leaders.
