A field leader in the Humayqan resistance explained the reasons for the setback that occurred in the Al-Zahir district in Al-Bayda Governorate after its liberation, rejecting accusations of treason or betrayal of the participants in the battle.

The leader, Abd Rabbo Al-Wahishi, said: We entered the war and we expect all the results to be victory or testimony of progress or withdrawal...

We extended our hands to all, expanded our chests to all, did not feel sorry for anyone, did not object to any opinion, did not disdain from any side, did not set any pre-conditions, but rather overcame all obstacles, buried all the gaps and blurred all the differences, all in an effort to win and yearn for freedom.  And our desire to defeat the oppressive militias.

And he added in a post on his Facebook account: "After we made all our efforts and exhausted all our energies, we reached what we have reached, and we are convinced that God did not ask us for more than we did and did not cost us more than we could, so God be praised."

He continued by saying: "After everything that happened, we refrain from accusing anyone of treason, or accusing anyone of betrayal, or complaining about anyone. We put our hands in theirs with confidence and rested our backs on their backs with confidence and safety, and above all that we tied our hope to God and threw our weight on Him, but God's destiny is  And whatever he wanted he did, praise be to God anyway.”

The resistance of the Hamiqan family and the Giants Brigades liberated the Al-Zahir district in a military operation on the fifth of this July, but the Houthi militia managed, after a few days, to mobilize hundreds of fighters and launch a large-scale military operation with the participation of artillery, missiles and drones, after which it managed to recover the district despite the death and injury of dozens of its members.
